The Midway / True-Ride is a high performance mid-length designed for old style riding or modern day manoeuvres, whatever one’s pleasure happens to be. The Midway has a fuller nose to maximize paddling while still having rails, edges, bottom rocker and foil to make it fast, steady, positive and manoeuvrable in almost any wave situation. The 2+1 setup gives many fin options so you can dial in the performance dependent on the waves.
The Midway we stock has an FCS2 fin system for the sidebites and a classic US-10 box for the center fin.

I've got two of these 7'6 midways, Two completely different boards, I'm unsure if there was a design change( the serial numbers are about 50 units apart) or a production issue. The earlier one has full length hard tucked rails, vee entry, mild single to double concave out the tail. When paired with a 8" christenson tracker fin it is super fast, a real section racer, capable of big deep bottom turns, running high lines and full rail cutbacks, the sharp rail keeps the deck running clean, reduces alot of drag and the little tuck has just enough hold and forgiveness to exploit the speed, best in clean well shaped runners of 1-6'(probably capable of more but i found that everything that makes this board light up starts to work against when the waves go from fun to serious) and also not that great when conditions drop below average(fat, onshore ect).
Loved it so much that I bought another one as a spare.
But board two has 60/40 rails, wider in the nose, wider in the tail. Wider in the fin cluster, concave entry, 1/4" single concave into spiral vee out through the fins to flat. (Same print of dimensions and volume on stringer) Nowhere near as fast as board 1, not even close but is more flowy, more forgiving and handles below average conditions better. Best with 4" sides and 6.5 centre.
